Herman The German Friendship Cake: Day 3

If you’re new to my Herman journey, before you read on, see Day 1 and Day 2.

Here is Herman on Day 3:

Instructions Day 3: Stir well

After stirring Herman today, i noticed that he is a lot thicker than he was on Day 1. He still returns to his “batter state” however on Day 1 he was quite runny. I’ve also noticed that before stirring, he is larger than the day before, however once stirred, his volume is less than the day before, albeit thicker (obviously when you stir him, he loses all the air from fermenting over the day).

I should have taken a photo of after i stirred him to show that he is getting thicker, whoops.

Join me tomorrow, Day 4, as it will be time to feed Hungry Herman!
