Herman The German Friendship Cake - Day 9 00Bubbling away

Today is the second last day on my Herman journey.

Instructions Day 9: Add the same as day 4 and stir well. Divide into 4 equal portions and give away to friends with a copy of these instructions. Keep the fourth portion

Herman The German Friendship Cake - Day 9 01I love the texture when you first start stirring him

Herman The German Friendship Cake - Day 9 02Added the 1 cup each of plain flour and sugar

Herman The German Friendship Cake - Day 9 03Added the 1 cup of milk

Herman The German Friendship Cake - Day 9 04Stirring

Herman The German Friendship Cake - Day 9 05Still more stirring

Herman The German Friendship Cake - Day 9 06He is stirred enough however he has some lumps from the flour

Sadly i only have one friend who is interested in Herman so i will only be giving away one portion and keeping three.

Herman The German Friendship Cake - Day 9 07One of four portions to give to a friend – a tip from another friend is to put Herman into ziplock bags when giving him away!

Herman The German Friendship Cake - Day 9 08The three of four portions that i will use to bake the actual Herman The German Friendship Cake

I was hoping Herman would reach the top of the bowl however i was too well prepared and gave him a big enough bowl. It would have been exciting to photograph and document for you all however apart from that it would probably have been a nuisance to not only clean up but transfer him!

Join me tomorrow on the very last day of my Herman journey as i bake him into a cake!
