The Liebster Award

The Liebster Award is a “favourite blog award”, as Liebster is the German word for favourite, beloved, or dearest. It is meant for smaller blogs with less than two hundred followers to help expose them to the world and help them discover other new and upcoming bloggers.

1. I’m sure it says in your “about” page, but remind me and your other readers.  Why are you writing your blog?

To share our passion for food and sustainability, and to have a record of our farming journey

2. What does your ideal evening look like?

Good food and wine, whilst watching a movie in our spa

3. I know I’m stealing this one, but what is your favorite cocktail?

We share the same favourite – a Pina Colada

4. What is your #1 comfort food?

Kel – ham and pineapple pizza
Laura – hot chips and aioli

5. Its summer time, what would you most like to be doing?

Kel – bushwalking and camping
Laura – sitting on the beach reading a book, munching yummy snacks and drinking Pina Coladas

6. What was your most memorable vacation or travel experience?

Our honeymoon in Fiji – for many reasons 😉

7. If you could make one change towards self-betterment, what would it be?

Kel – keep pride in check
Laura – cope better in crisis

8. What do you want to be when you grow up?

Kel – an explorer and inventor
Laura – a professional book reader

9. Do you get out of bed when your alarm goes off, or are you a hit the snooze kind of person?

Kel – gets around this question by setting multiple alarms!
Laura – used to get out of bed when the alarm went off however has slowly turned into a hit the snooze kind of person

10. You’re attending a pot luck dinner, what are you bringing?
